The objective of DETA Research is to promote student access and success through evidence-based online learning practices and learning technologies. Specifically, DETA identifies and evaluates instructional and institutional practices in blended and online learning, including competency-based education, with particular interest in underrepresented individuals (i.e., pell grant eligible, first generation, minorities, and students with disabilities) through rigorous research. In doing so, the members of the DETA Research Center Community have crafted a series of databases and toolkits to help educators in their research endeavors. Learn more about each resource below.
The DETA Research Toolkit serves to guide research conducted across institutions and disciplines, including both experimental and survey studies.
The database of research annotations is a curated collection of empirical research on effective practices within digital education.
This collection houses a series of publications that evaluate and curate perceptions and findings from the field.
This collection of position papers synthesizes cross-institutional research into executive summaries.
This database is a repository of comparative media studies in education research based on the book by Thomas L. Russell of the same name.
This is a collection of our presentations on the work coming out of the DETA Research Center Community.
